A massive rope installation. Ben dazzles at art events across China with performances far removed from Japan's dark SM depictions. His estranged wife and daughter live in Xiushui County, and the financial strain of child support and alimony weighs heavily. At 35, no longer considered young in China, Ben faces deep social prejudice and a bleak future for rope art. While working at a logistics company in Shenzhen to make ends meet, he struggles with the conflict between reality and his artistic aspirations.
